Gregory Woessner
Vice President of System Compliance and Operations

Gregory D. Woessner was appointed Vice President of System Compliance and Operations on June 18, 2008.

Greg brings to the position more than 28 years of experience in the electric utility industry.

Since joining KUA in 1983, Greg has successfully served in a series of positions, beginning as a power plant electrician and then later as a relay technician. His most recent position was manager of system operations.

As vice president, Greg is responsible for maintaining the utility’s electric reliability standards as well as all compliance monitoring. He also oversees transmission and distribution dispatch operations as well as the development of policies and practices related to inter-utility transmission access.

Greg holds a Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degree from Webster University and an electrical engineering degree from Valencia Community College. He is certified by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) as a system operator.

Greg is a graduate of Leadership Osceola County and has decades of community involvement with Rotary International, Toastmasters and the Nature Conservancy.
