KISSIMMEE, Fla., January 22, 2010 – Repair crews from Kissimmee Utility Authority were up earlier than usual this morning, restoring power to customers who were affected by a line of severe thunderstorms that swept through Central Florida before sunrise.
Lightning caused outages in downtown Kissimmee (44 customers), Morningside (4 customers) and at the Kissimmee YMCA. Power was restored to all customers by 8:00 a.m.
