KISSIMMEE, Fla., May 30, 2007 – The Kissimmee City Commission on Tuesday voted unanimously to confirm the appointment of Reginald L. Hardee to the Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors.

Hardee is the first African American to serve on the five-member volunteer board.

Hardee is an information technology manager for the state of Florida. He attended the University of Florida and is a 10-year resident of Osceola County. Hardee is active in Kissimmee Masonic Lodge #68 and the Bethel AME Church.
