KISSIMMEE, Fla., March 6, 3:30 p.m. – Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA), Florida’s sixth largest community-owned electric utility, today announced the online version of its 2005 annual report has been downloaded more that 1,000 times since its release in February — an average of 50 downloads each day.
Developed as an informational resource and review of KUA’s 2005 performance, the 48-page report pays special tribute to the diesel generators at the utility’s Roy E. Hansel Generating Station. The generators were decommissioned in 2005 because the units were no longer economical to operate.
The annual report can be downloaded from KUA’s website at http://www.kua.com/corporate/press/reports.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 170,000 residents in five Central Florida counties.
