KISSIMMEE, Fla., December 30, 2008 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s 2007 annual report has been chosen for inclusion in the annual Black Book AR100, the third consecutive year the utility’s annual report has garnered this national honor.
Now in its 23rd year, the AR100 award show is the country’s largest and most acclaimed design competition for annual report production. There are more than 30,000 annual reports and corporate responsibility reports published in the U.S. each year. A distinguished panel of judges chooses the 100 best for this prominent publication, based on excellence of design, functionality, innovation and brand awareness.
KUA’s 46-page annual report, titled “That’s the Way it Grows,” reviews the utility’s performance and details how operational “seeds” planted by the utility blossomed to meet the demands of a growing customer base. The annual report was produced by KUA’s corporate communications department with assistance from graphic design firm Popcorn Initiative, photographer Eric Sutton and illustrator Kim Fox.
The report is available online at http://www.kua.com/corporate.
All 100 winners will be published in The Black Book AR100 Award Show book, scheduled for release in February 2009. The book is circulated to over 15,000 corporate communicators and will be available for purchase at bookstores and online. A complete list of this year’s winners can be found at http://www.annualreport100.com.
