KUA Automates its Employment Application Process

KISSIMMEE, Fla., December 4, 2009 – Beginning Monday, Dec. 7, there will be a new way to apply for a job at Kissimmee Utility Authority.

Individuals interested in reviewing current job openings or submitting an application will now be directed to the utility’s new online application process at http://kuajobs.com.

From the Web site, prospective employees will be able to search job postings at the utility, complete an application for employment, and log in to the site to view the status of their application for each position to which the applicant has applied.

Once an application has been created, individuals may use the same application to apply for any utility position that is offered. Prior to applying for a specific position, prospective employees should have an electronic (either Microsoft Word or PDF) copy of any document (such as a resume) they wish to attach to their application.

Computer kiosks are available in KUA’s Human Resources department for those applicants who don’t have access to a computer at home.
