KUA CREWS RESTORE POWER TO 6,524 CUSTOMERS; 76 LEFT TO GO

KISSIMMEE, Fla., September 4, 6:25 p.m. – Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) crews continue to restore power to customers across Osceola County. The utility has restored electric service to 6,524 of the 6,600 customers who lost power earlier today as a result of the approaching Hurricane Frances. At 6:25 p.m. Saturday, 76 KUA customers remain without power.

KUA customers who experience power outages are asked to call the utility’s 24-hour outage line at 407-933-7777.

Founded in 1901, KUA is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric service to 58,000 customers in Osceola County.
