KISSIMMEE, Fla., August 25, 2008 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s customer service center has reopened for business this morning, following a law enforcement search for an armed suspect near the intersection of Thacker Avenue and Carroll Street.
The facility, which normally opens at 7 a.m., was opened to customer traffic at 8:30 a.m.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 170,000 residents in five Central Florida counties.
