KISSIMMEE, Fla., January 25, 1:00 p.m. – The city of Bushnell on Tuesday announced it has contracted with Kissimmee-based KUA.net to redesign its municipal Web site.

KUA.net is the full-service Internet division of Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA).

The city said its Web redesign was based on an increase in online traffic and inquiries through the site. The new site will include improved and reorganized content, a complete list of city ordinances, annexation information and an assortment of community links.

“We’re excited to be working with KUA.net on this project,” said Susan Noell, Bushnell’s director of information systems and customer affairs. “We currently have no in-house Web programmers, so KUA.net’s expertise will be invaluable to us.”

The site will debut this spring.

Founded in 1901, KUA is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric, water and telecommunication services to 170,000 residents in five Central Florida counties. Visit www.kua.com for more information.
