KISSIMMEE, Fla., October 10, 9:30 am – With increased airfield traffic and a growing business corridor, Kissimmee Airport represents one of the state’s fastest growing transportation and cargo hubs.

The airport’s next significant growth opportunity will be to incorporate the latest in broadband and wireless technologies to link airport services together for enhanced customer service and maximized efficiencies. How this will be accomplished is the theme of tonight’s 2001 Kissimmee Airport Technology Forum in Kissimmee. The forum has been organized by KUA.net, the internet division of Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA).

KUA.net has partnered with the Kissimmee Airport, the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, and Osceola County‘s Economic Development Department to gather airport business owners and tenants together for tonight’s forum on how best to incorporate state-of-the-art technology into the airport’s master plan.

The invitation-only meeting will be held at KUA headquarters, located at 1701 W. Carroll Street in Kissimmee.

KUA is Florida‘s 7th largest community-owned utility serving 53,000 electric, water and Internet customers in four Central Florida counties. KUA is celebrating its 100th year of serving the community in 2001.
