KUA to Honor 275 Years of Employee Service

KISSIMMEE, Fla., September 26, 2014 – At its monthly meeting on Oct. 1, the Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors will honor 16 employees for a combined 275 years of service to the utility.

Those being honored include:

25 Years
Alan Burkhardt, superintendent of transmission and distribution operations
L.J. Crouch, Jr., field service specialist
Bruce Thompson, manager of transmission and distribution operations

20 Years
David Aviles, power plant shift supervisor
Tim Briggs, instrument and controls technician
Bob Chywski, power plant operator/mechanic
Marcial Diaz, instrument and controls technician
Neute Johnson, utility worker
Diane Sweenor, customer service representative

Mike Taylor, lineman first class
Matt Wetzel, supervisor of substation maintenance

10 Years
Niyessa Hunter, customer service representative
Carola Martinez, customer service representative
Yomarie Medina, administrative staff assistant

5 Years
Roman Luciano, warehouse clerk
Joan Tua-Montijo, customer service representative
