KUA Wins Three Awards in APEX Competition

KISSIMMEE, Fla., July 3, 2007 – Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) was honored Monday with three awards in APEX 2007, the nineteenth annual awards program recognizing excellence in printed and online publications.

APEX winners were chosen from nearly 5,000 entries received from government, private corporations and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and Canada.

KUA received the following recognition:

KUA was the only electric utility in Florida to be honored in this year’s competition. Other notable winners included AARP, Costco Wholesale, Lockheed Martin and The Walt Disney Company.

KUA has earned 208 local, state, national and international communication awards for public relations programs, special events, community relations and publications since 1995.
