Lacerte Named FMEA Member of the Year

KISSIMMEE, Fla., August 15, 5:00 p.m. – In appreciation for his ongoing dedication and commitment to Florida’s municipal electric utilities, Kissimmee Utility Authority vice president and general counsel Arthur J. “Grant” Lacerte, Jr. has been named the Florida Municipal Electric Association’s 2005 Member of the Year.

The award was one of 13 given out at FMEA’s 2005 annual conference in Key Largo, Fla.

Lacerte joined KUA in 2002. He currently serves as board chairman for the Osceola County Children’s Home Advisory Commission and serves on the board for the Center for Drug-Free Living, Inc.

Lacerte holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University in New York, N.Y. and a J.D. degree from Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
