KISSIMMEE, Fla., January 14, 2020 – Kissimmee Utility Authority, in partnership with the City of Kissimmee, will host a free Movie in the Park event on Friday, Feb. 7 on the veterans lawn of Kissimmee Lakefront Park.

The event will feature Disney’s 2019 animated musical film “The Lion King,” shown on a giant 50-foot screen. The movi­­­­e will feature closed captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

Attendees will enjoy a kid’s inflatable fun zone, craft station, themed activities, movie popcorn, trivia contest and prize giveaways.

Through hands-on demonstrations, the event will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to lower their monthly electric bills.

Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Onsite concessions will be available.
