The City of Kissimmee presents the Festival of Lights Parade on Saturday, December 9th, at 7:00 p.m. Residents, groups and businesses are invited to participate in this unique evening parade which illuminates the streets of downtown Kissimmee.
Parade participants should exhibit their holiday spirit by decorating a float in the parade or by entertaining the crowd with strolling performances.
This year’s parade theme is “Jingle Bell Rock”. This theme should be incorporated into the design of costumes and/or floats. Judges will review each entry and award prizes to the top rated entry in each of the following categories: Best Overall, Most Original, Best Lights and Effects, Best Themed, Best Performance, Best Walking Group and Crowd Pleaser.
