KISSIMMEE, Fla., June 9, 2017 – Kissimmee Utility Authority superintendent of transmission and distribution operations Aaron Haderle has been appointed by the American Public Power Association to serve as the safety representative on its 18-member Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) Program Review Panel.
The RP3 program is APPA’s way to recognize utilities nationwide that set the bar in reliability, safety, work force development and system improvement. An RP3 designation demonstrates to community leaders, governing board members, suppliers and service providers a utility’s commitment to excellence. Criteria within each of the four RP3 areas are based upon sound business practices and recognized industry leading practices.
The review panel holds responsibility for reviewing all RP3 applications and program improvements, as well as providing general policy oversight for the program.
Haderle was appointed to repeatable, two-year terms, beginning in 2017.
