KISSIMMEE, Fla., October 15, 2008 – To accommodate design modifications and repaving, Kissimmee Utility Authority will close its south (front) parking lot for approximately two weeks, beginning this Saturday, Oct. 18.
During the closure, the facility’s handicapped parking will be temporarily moved to the east parking lot. Wheelchairs have been rented by the utility to assist individuals with the longer trek from the parking lot to the building. Assistance arrangements can be made in advance by calling 407-933-7777 and selecting option ‘0.’
The completed parking lot will offer additional handicapped spaces and easier access to the building for those with disabilities.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 170,000 residents in five Central Florida counties.
