KISSIMMEE, Fla., August 28, 2008 – Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) vice president of finance and risk management Joseph Hostetler has been named one of the nation’s top 500 professionals in treasury and finance by the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP).
Hostetler was hand-picked by senior AFP staff from among 100,000 finance professionals nationwide.
Selection was based on strict criteria including knowledge of corporate finance, treasury management and financial reporting as well as professional qualifications, career growth and certification as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager.
2008 marks the fifth consecutive year that Hostetler has earned the designation.
Hostetler joined the utility in 1987 as accounting supervisor and was promoted to his current position in 1988. He holds an accounting degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from Rollins College.
