KISSIMMEE, Fla., February 25, 2008 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s 2006 annual report has received a gold ADDY award from the Orlando club of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
The award, given in the four-color annual report category, was presented Feb. 23 at Destiny Nightclub in Orlando.
The 26-page report, titled “What You Don’t See,” exposes the otherwise invisible aspects of electricity and the electricity business. The report is available online at http://www.kua.com/Corporate/Press/Reports/2006/kua06intro.html.
The annual report was produced by KUA’s corporate communications division with assistance from graphic design firm Popcorn Initiative of Orlando and commercial photographer Ed McDonald of Longwood.
The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. The awards are unique among competitions because they include three rigorous levels of judging: local, regional and national/international.
The entry will now advance to the AAF Fourth District where it will compete with entries from Florida, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
