
KISSIMMEE, Fla., October 26, 10:00 a.m. – The Kissimmee Utility Authority 2003 annual report today received the top award in a national annual report contest conducted by the American Public Power Association (APPA).
KUA’s annual report, titled “ON,” earned the Award of Excellence among electric utilities with gross annual revenues of $100-$199 million.
The report features a financial summary of 2003 as well as a narrative on the many ways electricity impacts the daily lives of Osceola County residents. The report brings attention to just a few of the many luxuries, conveniences and life-saving devices that exist because electricity powers them.
The award was presented this morning by APPA President & CEO Alan Richardson at the association’s annual conference in Scottsdale, Ariz.
