KISSIMMEE, Fla., Oct. 13, 2010 – The Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors on Oct. 6 held its annual election of officers.
Kissimmee attorney Fred Cumbie was elected chairman of the five-member board, real estate broker Jim Kasper was elected vice chairman, information technology manager Reginald Hardee was elected secretary and Dr. George Gant was elected assistant secretary. Retired school psychologist Kathleen Thacker, who joined the board in July, will serve as director.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 62,000 customers in Osceola County, Fla.
