KISSIMMEE, Fla., February 22, 2008 – In a move to provide greater service and convenience, Kissimmee Utility Authority today announced the installation of a self-service payment kiosk in the lobby of its customer service center.
The kiosk accepts cash and check payments and prints a transaction ID number on the receipt. A typical transaction takes less than two minutes and is generally processed in real-time. Step-by-step instructions are provided in both English and Spanish.
KUA customers are reminded to bring their bill or account number with them to make a payment. There is no cost to use this payment option.
The utility’s customer service center is open from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday-Friday, at 1701 W. Carroll Street in Kissimmee.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 170,000 residents in five Central Florida counties.
