KISSIMMEE, Fla., February 22, 2017 – Kissimmee Utility Authority has introduced a new “live chat” service for its customers accessible across various platforms including PCs, tablets and smartphones.
The online, real-time chat service resides on the utility’s website and works alongside its call center, emails and social media channels to give customers direct access to customer service representatives to conduct utility business. The feature is available from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. After hours requests will be handled the next business day.
The chat service provides customers immediate access to help, and customers can easily multi-task while waiting.
“Many consumers still prefer contacting companies by phone or in person,” said Susan Postans, KUA’s vice president of customer service. “But among millennials and younger generations particularly, the internet is the preferred method of communication. We are continuously working to provide customers with tools to make it easier to do business with KUA.”
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility powering 70,000 customers in Osceola County, Fla.
