KISSIMMEE, Fla., September 12, 2017 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s customer service center will be closed today to all walk-in customers so that its employees can continue to focus on power restoration following Hurricane Irma.
The utility’s call center will operate normal hours, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., to accommodate utility payments, payment arrangements, new service requests and service terminations. The call center number is 407-933-9800.
At 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, crews had restored service to 30,739 or 81 percent of the customers impacted by the storm. About 7,261 customers remain without power.
KUA offers three ways for customers to report an outage:
1. Call 407-933-9898 and follow the voice prompts.
2. Text the word “Outage” to 4079339800 and provide your name, email, service address and phone number. You will receive a text confirmation that your information has been received.
3. Go online and complete the outage form at https://kua.com/report-a-power-outage/.
