
KISSIMMEE, Fla., October 15, 9:00 am — In an effort to increase awareness of energy conservation among students, the Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) is again sponsoring a CALENDAR ART CONTEST for all third, fourth and fifth grade Osceola county students. A jury of KUA employees will select twelve (12) entries to be featured in KUA’s 2002 Calendar of Energy Conservation.
Every student who submits an entry will be honored with a letter of appreciation, a small prize, and a copy of the full-color calendar. The twelve winners will also receive a $75 cash prize!
The winning artwork will be featured in the calendar with the student’s name, grade, art instructor’s name and school appearing with the artwork. The calendars will be distributed free of charge in December 2001 to Osceola residents.
Official entry forms are currently available in the art department of each Osceola county school and at KUA’s
