KISSIMMEE, Fla., November 28, 2016 – Kissimmee Utility Authority, in partnership with the City of Kissimmee, will host the holiday edition of its monthly Movie in the Park series on Friday, December 2 on the civic lawn of Kissimmee’s Lakefront Park.
The event will feature the comedy film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” shown on a giant 32-foot screen. The movie will feature closed captioning for the hearing impaired.
Attendees will also enjoy free hot dogs, chips, drinks, popcorn, themed activities and a Grinch trivia contest.
In addition, the utility will offer snow tubing at the event. Admission to snow tubing will be one non-perishable or canned food item or $1 per person which will be donated to a local food bank to replenish food distributed during the holidays.
Through hands-on demonstrations, the event will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to decorate their home for the holidays with energy savings in mind.
Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
