KUA to Host Movie in the Park Featuring ‘The Lego Movie’

KISSIMMEE, Fla., September 23, 2014 – Kissimmee Utility Authority, in partnership with the City of Kissimmee, will host a free Movie in the Park event on Friday, Oct. 3 on the civic lawn of Kissimmee’s Lakefront Park.

The event will feature the animated adventure comedy film “The Lego Movie,” shown on a giant 14-foot LED screen. The movie will feature closed captioning for the hearing impaired.

Attendees will enjoy free admission, free popcorn, a mobile game theatre featuring five Lego video games, themed activities, trivia contests and prize giveaways.

Through hands-on demonstrations, the event will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to lower their monthly utility bills.

Activities begin at 6 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m.

Bring a lawn chair, blanket and a picnic basket, too.
