
KISSIMMEE, Fla., June 28, 8:30 am — Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) is a proud sponsor of Kissimmee’s 2002 Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration. The event will feature live entertainment, a water ski show, face painting, pony rides, rock climbing wall, food vendors, arts and crafts, free utility bucket truck rides, children’s activities, and a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by KUA.
“Once again we’re delighted to be part of this celebration of America’s birthday,” said KUA President & General Manager Jim Welsh. “We’ve been lighting Kissimmee since 1901. On July 4th, we’ll be lighting the sky with a spectacular fireworks display.”
The festivities begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday, with fireworks scheduled over Lake Tohopekaliga at approximately 9:00 p.m.
