KISSIMMEE, Fla., November 13, 2008 – At the 83rd annual conference of the Southeastern Electricity Metering Association (SEMA) held in Clearwater, Fla. on Nov. 3-6, Kissimmee Utility Authority’s manager of support services Ricky Johnson was elected president of the association for 2009.
Johnson began his career at KUA in 1997. He joined SEMA that same year and has previously served the association as Sergeant at Arms, secretary, treasurer and vice president.
Chartered in 1925, the Southeastern Electricity Metering Association (SEMA) is the nation’s oldest professional association dedicated to the electricity metering industry. SEMA monitors and shares the latest trends, developments and practices of the metering industry with its members.
