KISSIMMEE, Fla., Jan. 29, 2007 – Cold temperatures throughout Central Florida this morning led to a second generating record in four days for Kissimmee Utility Authority’s Cane Island Power Park Unit 3.
The combined cycle unit reached a record generation output of 276.7 megawatts (MW), eclipsing the previous record of 273.4 MW set on Friday, Jan. 26.
