Saturday’s Kowtown Festival to Celebrate Founding of Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla., March 22, 2017 – Kissimmee Utility Authority is a major sponsor of the Kowtown Festival on Saturday, March 25, celebrating the 134th birthday of the founding of Kissimmee.

The event will feature the Kissimmee Valley Rib Rodeo, a sanctioned barbecue competition, live music, a hot dog eating contest, local food and merchandise vendors, birthday cake and more.

In addition, the utility will host one acre of free family fun in the KUA Kids’ Corral, featuring a mechanical bull, a three-story dual lane slide, bungee trampoline, inflatable stagecoach, Kowtown photo booth and free snow cones.

The event runs from noon until 5 p.m. at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Admission and parking are free.
