KISSIMMEE, Fla., Feb. 8, 2007 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s 2005 annual report has been honored in the Fox River/Gilbert Paper Outstanding Design Awards contest.
The international competition is comprised of three categories: corporate brochure (including annual reports), letterhead and miscellaneous. First, second and third place winners are selected in each category. The winning entries are chosen based on their outstanding design and use of the Fox River and/or Gilbert papers.
KUA’s report was printed on Fox River’s recycled Sundance paper.
All winning entries receive a distinctive award and become part of the Outstanding Design Awards traveling show that is showcased around the world for a one year period.
The 48-page annual report — titled “A Lifetime of Power” — pays tribute to KUA’s Roy E. Hansel diesel plant which was decommissioned in September 2005 after 104 years of continuous service. The report is available online at http://www.kua.com/Corporate/Press/Reports/2005/2005_Annual_Report.html.
