Kissimmee Utility Authority welcomes the opportunity to do business with interested Contractor/Suppliers. KUA is a municipal electric utility under the direction of a five-member Board of Directors. Its service area covers the city of Kissimmee and some incorporated areas, totaling 85 square miles. KUA is the sixth largest municipally-owned electric utility in Florida, serving approximately 70,000 customers. Electric is supplied by both KUA-owned generating facilities and through purchased power arrangements.

Our mission is to provide reliable and economical services to our customers while partnering with the community and the environment.

The objective of the Procurement Division is to assist the using departments in identifying, selecting, and acquiring needed goods and services as economically as possible within an acceptable time frame and within accepted standards of quality and service and in accordance with all applicable laws.

Should you wish to meet with personnel within the Procurement Division, you are encouraged to set up an appointment. It is recommended that initial contact with other KUA departments be made through the Procurement Division. This will ensure proper processing and save valuable time for all parties.
