INTERNSHIPS AT KUA

KUA has partnered with CareerSource of Central Florida to provide internships to local high school students.

This program enables students to learn alongside experts and test their skills in real-world scenarios. Throughout this one-month program, students gain exposure to the diverse careers KUA offers, helping them explore their interests and better align their future college majors and career decisions.

In order to be eligible for a KUA internship, students must:

Live within KUA’s service territory.

Students must be at least 15 years old.

Students must be enrolled in high school. Students graduating in 2026 are eligible to participate.

Be available for the 4-week internship.

Able to work approximately 20-30 hours a week. Students are paid $15/hour.
