Promotional graphic for KUA's 31st Annual Calendar Art Contest highlighting the winners, themed 'Electrical Safety 2025.'

KISSIMMEE — Kissimmee Utility Authority today announced the winners of its 31st annual student calendar art contest. Open to Osceola County students in kindergarten through fifth grade, the contest promotes energy conservation among students and their families.

This year a total of 996 entries were received from 15 Osceola County elementary schools. A panel of judges met in November and selected 12 entries – one for each calendar month – that will be featured in the utility’s 2025 Calendar of Electrical Safety.

The winners are:

Annalise Trilla, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 1st grade

Emily Bolanos, East Lake Elementary School, 5th grade

Imaan Akhai, Highlands Elementary School, 4th grade

Isabella V. Salas Humbrio, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 2nd grade

Kayson Bombard, Lakeview Elementary School, 3rd grade

Krystal Montalto, Osceola Science Charter School, Kindergarten

Kylan Esquivel, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 3rd grade

María Virginia Pirela, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 4th grade

Xavier Gonzalez, East Lake Elementary School, 1st grade

The 12 winning students will have their artwork featured in this 2025 calendar and each will receive a $150 cash prize. The grand prize winner’s photos and artwork will be featured on the calendar cover and will be affixed to a KUA fleet vehicle for one year.

The grand prize winner’s school, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, will receive $750 in art supplies, and Flora Ridge Elementary will receive $500 in art supplies for submitting the most total entries in the contest.

The calendars will be distributed free of charge, beginning in January.
