KISSIMMEE, Fla., May 14, 2008 –The Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors on Wednesday held a special meeting to elect the officers for the five-member governing board, following the death on May 9 of chairman William C. “Bill” Hart.
The board elected attorney Fred Cumbie as chairman, retired insurance executive Nancy Gemskie as vice chairman, real estate broker Jim Kasper as secretary and information technology executive Reginald Hardee as assistant secretary.
The open seat will be filled in the next 30 days, using a formal process outlined in the utility’s charter.
