KISSIMMEE — In anticipation of a potential impact from Hurricane Ian, Kissimmee Utility Authority’s Customer Service Center will close at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 28 and will remain closed until further notice.

The utility’s call center will continue to operate during normal business hours from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., to accommodate utility payments and other services. Customers can also make payments and manage their account at my.kua.com.

Customers who experience a power outage can report it quickly by texting the word “out,” to 877-582-7700. This is the fastest way to notify KUA about an outage.

Founded in 1901, KUA is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility powering 90,000 customers in Osceola County, Florida. For more information, visit www.kua.com.
