KISSIMMEE, Fla., September 18, 2019 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s popular Movie in the Park series will resume in October and continue monthly through March 2020.
The family-friendly series is scheduled for the first Friday of each month on the veterans lawn of Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m. (*7:30 movie start time for October only because of late sunset.)
Attendees will enjoy free admission, free popcorn, themed activities, trivia contests and prize giveaways. Through hands-on demonstrations, the events will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to lower their monthly utility bills.
The movies will be shown on a giant 32-foot screen with sound system. All movies will feature closed captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
Movie line-up for the fall includes:
October 4 – Aladdin (2019)
November 1 – The Secret Life of Pets 2
December 6 – Elf
Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic-style dinner.
The movie series is a partnership between KUA and the City of Kissimmee.
