KISSIMMEE, Fla., September 24, 2018 – Kissimmee Utility Authority’s popular Movie in the Park series will resume in October and continue through March 2019.

The series is scheduled for the first Friday of each month on the veterans lawn of Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy free admission, free popcorn, themed activities, trivia contests and prize giveaways. Through hands-on demonstrations, the events will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to lower their monthly utility bills.

The movies will be shown on a giant 32-foot screen with sound system. All movies will feature closed captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

Movie line-up for the fall includes:

October 5 – Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
November 2 – Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation
December 7 – The Santa Clause

Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic-style dinner.

The movie series is a partnership between KUA and the City of Kissimmee.
