KISSIMMEE, Fla., March 15, 2018 – Kissimmee Utility Authority, in partnership with the City of Kissimmee, will host its final Movie in the Park of the season on Friday, April 6 on the civic lawn of Kissimmee Lakefront Park.

The event will feature the musical drama film “The Greatest Showman,” shown on a giant 32-foot screen. The film is inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum’s creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus and the lives of its star attractions. The movie will feature closed captioning for the hearing impaired.

Attendees will enjoy free popcorn, circus-themed activities, a craft station, trivia contest and prize giveaways.

Through hands-on demonstrations, the event will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to lower their monthly utility bills.

Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7:45 p.m. The later start time for the movie is due to the recent time change.

Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic-style dinner.
